Adversary is Often the Situation
"Adversary is often the situation and seldom the people around."
At the professional sphere, if someone is not agreeing or playing ball it is likely that they have a different situation/ constraints/ goals than yours.
Our lack of knowledge or understanding or even agreement with their situation doesn't help in solving the problem. It only takes us away from finding a solution.
Labeling people is easy but only accentuates the issue, often even breaking down any likelihood of a possible dialogue.
Chances are if someone is sounding crazy, you haven't understood enough about their situation.
