Make your future self proud

On this last day of 2021, here is a wish and aspiration I have for myself and you.

Hope when you meet your future self on Dec 31, 2022, a year from now, he/she is proud of what you did in 2022.

Each of our future selves will likely have different expectations from us. It may well be something grand, or it could be something not so grand but still important to your future self. It could be some progress professionally, or maybe on the family side, or on the health front. Some others may desire parts of this or even none of this. Maybe some of our future selves have financial goals., while other may have giving goals.

Amongst everyone in this world, you are best placed to articulate what your future self desires.

Is it then worth jotting down what will make your future self proud of you. Doing so may give you a better shot at pleasing the one person who is always on your side.

If you haven't articulated what your future self maybe proud of a year from now, you still have time to do so. A few more hours before the clock starts ticking and the New Year begins. If you know what you are working towards, you will find a way else you will find an excuse.
