What we think of the work we do is how we end up performing on it.

If we think we are paid to write emails or attend calls or make fancy charts on PowerPoint, that's what we focus on doing. On the contrary, if we tell ourselves we are responsible for making decisions that drive value for clients and employees, we end up approaching work in a very different impactful way.
