Leaving the Land Fallow

Sometimes the mind must be left fallow, much like the land!

Giving ourselves the permission to periodically, but thoughtfully, hibernate is important to recharge the batteries. It’s only when our minds are relaxed, when the creative juices can flow.

Being always on, given an illusion of progress. At times, it even sabotages progress as a busy mind means we can at best think in a linear fashion. Often, we even miss the big picture because as our bandwidth is tapped out!
