Respecting BOundaries
For those leading teams, it's important to balance accountability & passion for work with respecting boundries of personal time. For those in positions of power influence the narrative and expectations from others in the organisation.
If you lead a team and are frequently emailing people late night or weekends, or not taking time off at all, you are indirectly setting the expectations that this is the expected behaviour, even if that's not what you intend to do.
Sometimes we need to prioritise the tone we want to set in our teams, more than our stylistic preferences, for creating a healthy work environment.
