Running Meetings Effectively
Meetings with structure is one of the rarest commodities in the corporate world. We often spend more time in the meeting than planning for it. More often than not, we end up disillusioned with the results.
Like anything else in Life, quality of input (in preparing for the meeting) determines the output from it.
A well run meeting, like a story, should have at least 3 distinct parts carefully curated.
1. The Begining - that offers context of why we are meeting and lays down the focus of the conversation
2. The Middle - that looks to explore the topic of conversation from different perspectives
3. The End - that summarises what we have concluded (or not!), and what the action steps are (including who is accountable for them and by when)
