Drive or Experience

A team member who has the drive, for a role or a challenge, often outperforms someone who may have the experience but not the drive.

Sometimes, we over index on experience and under appreciate people on their desire to pursue things. Over the years, I have found, that when some has the drive they are able to make up for their lack of experience by putting in the hard yards. The converse is seldom true!
