Feedback

When we ask for Feedback, we need to openly and patiently listen to all that comes our way. Sometimes we get bouquets and on other occasions we may get brickbats.

It's important to not interrupt, judge or worse still start defending or even antagonizing the messenger.

Feedback is meant for reflection first. Corrective action is taken where there is congruency between our view of things that can get better and what the feedback is telling us. On other occasions, where we have a divergent view of things (after reflection) vs. feedback that's been shared with us, we may not take any action but rather keep an eye out for recurring themes.
