Start-Ups or 9-5?

Start-ups and entrepreneurship is amazing. It takes a lot of grit and perseverance to make things happen when you are on your on. Kudos to those who have the vision to see things, and the conviction to make their vision a reality.

However, it doesn't take away from those who want to pursue a 9-5 or want to work for a large organization. It takes discipline, and courage to pursue this path too. A lot of us can be passionate about making a difference, but within a relatively structured environment.

Both options are great. Different options may work for different people. Sometimes, even for the same person different options may work at different points of time in their careers. We need to stop looking at entrepreneurship and working in an organization as black or white, or good and bad, but rather as a continuum that we can choose to play in.
